Villas in Barbados

Discovered by shipwrecked Portuguese sailors in 1536, Barbados 21 miles long and 12 miles wide, is the most easterly of the West Indian islands, cooled by the trade winds and in many ways as English as teatime - if pristine palm fringed beaches can be English. Barbados boasts a variety of white sandy beaches and is highly organised as a holiday resort with holiday villas to suit all tastes

Ample sports facilities exist to satisfy those with energy to spare. There is golf, tennis, horse riding, sailing and a host of other water sports with yachts for charter. The capital, Bridgetown, offers a wide range of shops, comfortable and air-conditioned. Throughout the island there are restaurants, bars and entertainment. We maintain full information on a range of fine villas in Barbados - we can normally supply a villa to suit your exact requirements, although bookings for peak winter months must be made well in advance. Peak season is from mid-December through mid-April. The dry season extends from January to April, with a rainy season from May to August.

Full staff means a minimum of a cook, a maid and a gardener but check staff when booking. Budget a minimum of 10% of the villa rental for extra local payment to staff.
