Linucia is a unique villa with charm and history, beautifully restored and well-kept, just 4 kms from Albufeira on the sea beside the famous 5 mile beach of Praia da Gale. Paths run through the garden to different parts of the beach and you can see (and hear) the sea from most parts of the property. It is set in extensive grounds with hard surface tennis court, boules court and heated pool, and has a couple as cook/housekeeper and gardener who live in a separate cottage, speak English and are very helpful. The house itself is large and comfortable and has every convenience including billiard room, table tennis, satellite television and video, piano, stereo and central heating. Along the beach nearby are some good restaurants with a Michelin starred restaurant just 600m away.   The pool (large at 12m x 6m and heated) is enclosed on three sides and there is a very attractive terrace running along the house which provides a dining area with sea view and extra sunbathing. 

Accommodation includes large and attractive living room with French windows   leading out to the terrace and garden and with sea views, piano, satellite TV and seating for up to 12. 

The formal dining room is separate with long oval table with chairs for up to 14 people and paintings of Italian landscapes. French windows lead to the side of the house and to the garden. 

The kitchen is fully-equipped with wooden cabinets, halogen and gas hobs, a double-width oven,  marble worktops and US-style fridge freezer with ice maker. 

Bedrooms are:

• Ground floor, double bedroom with French windows to the pool, kingsize bed, and its own bathroom adjacent (with bath and shower).
• In the second bedroom wing (also by the pool) is the master bedroom with king-size double bed, books, chairs, French windows opening to terraces with sea views.  Its bathroom has a bath with shower attachment, wc and sink.
•  A double room on the ground floor has newly-installed en suite bathroom with bath, shower (monsoon head) and sink.
• A double or twin with French windows to a small private terrace with sea view and also to the pool side.  Its bathroom is adjacent and also new with bath and shower.
• On the first floor is a twin room with sea views on two sides and en suite bathroom
• The second bedroom on the first floor has twin beds and views of the tennis court and out to sea.

In the basement is a games room with full-size billiards/snooker table.  The house is built around the pool which is 12m x 6m and heated. The garden is large and exceptionally well-kept by the resident gardener with large sloping lawns and paths leading to the beach in various places.  Hard surface tennis court and boules.
