Completed in June 2010, this is a very comfortable villa in expensive contemporary style on the top of the Funchal Ridge about 3 miles from Praia da Luz with views of the Monchique Mountains. Layout and comforts are ideal for a family group. It has disabled access and one of the bedroom suites is fully equipped for wheelchair users. All rooms have air conditioning. There is a library of DVDs, books and games.
Accommodation is air conditioned throughout and includes:
Spacious living room with 46in flatscreen TV with free sat channels, DVD player and surround sound. Comfortable modern leather seating, coffee table and bar. Two sets of sliding doors: one to the outdoor dining area, the other to the large pool terrace.
The separate dining room has a large glass-topped table to seat 10 people with modern designed dining chairs and gas fire. Sliding doors also lead to the pool.
The kitchen is equippped to the highest standard with all modern appliances, including fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher, separate electric oven and modern gas hob with extractor, kettle and toaster.
Separate modern WC with hand basin, accessible to wheelchair users.

Outside is the heated swimming pool (12m x 6m approx) which can be heated at extra cost. It has a shallow area for children and 10 sun loungers with umbrellas and small tables with plenty of pool towels. The outdoor jacuzzi takes up to 8 people. The house is on split level and has terraces on the main floor and ground floor. To the side of the living room is a large al fresco dining area with wood panelling and glass topped table with seating for 10 people and a large barbecue with canopy. The villa is surrounded by lawns and gardens with fruit trees.
