Surrounded by the unrivalled beauty of the Chianti region, this house is a converted old farmhouse, refurbished and decorated to modern standards but retaining original wooden beams and typical high ceilings.  All the bedrooms benefit from fantastic views of the surrounding countryside. There are 24 acres of private grounds and gardens containing olive and cypress trees and a fenced South-facing swimming pool.   The dining terrace with barbecue and pizza oven is ideal for enjoying a warm Tuscan evening.  The town of Mercatale is 8km, Florence 34 km, San Gimignano 28 km.

Accommodation:  is all on the first floor and includes large sitting room with fireplace, DVD and satellite TV, large kitchen with dining table for 12.  Sleeping accommodation:

All essential services are in Mercatale which is about 8 minutes drive.  Horse riding is possible (also about 8 minutes) as well as cookery classes (minimum 5 people). There is golf at Ugolino (20 minutes).  Florence is 36 km, San Gimignano 28 km, Greve about 25 km and Siena about 50 km.
