Il Prato is a lovely country estate situated in the best area of the Chianti region, halfway between Panzano and Greve. It is surrounded by woodland and vineyards with a beautiful view of Panzano.
The property has been fully restored in the last few years with great attention to detail using antique stone, cotto, tiles and other materials to keep the character of a true grand Tuscan country house but also with the addition of modern comforts (including professional kitchen, air conditioning in the bedrooms, internet access and plasma TV). The surroundings are peaceful and quiet with stunning views and privacy is absolute.
The services of a professional chef are available at extra cost. The last 1400m of access is an unsealed road.
Accommodation for up to 14 adults and 4 children is three separate buildings: the main villa sleeps 12 in comfort, the cottage a further 4 and the suite 2 more.
