The beaches that stretch south from St Tropez are world-famous: the Pampelonne is arguably what made St Tropez famous in the first place. This is a beautiful, informal and very relaxing house set in peaceful countryside in the exclusive area of L'Oumede a little less than 3km from the Pampelonne. It is set in about 4 acres of grounds with landscaped gardens, seven bedrooms, air conditioning and heated, chlorine-free pool, various terraces and outdoor sitting areas, and very pleasant views across countryside. St Tropez town is about 8km and the Pampelonne beach is a little less than 3km. There is pool heating and air conditioning throughout. An Australian caretaker couple live in separate accommodation and are responsible for domestic arrangements, cleaning, putting out pool things and so on.
Accommodation is in a main house and separate pool side wing and air conditioned throughout. In the main house is a large open-plan living/dining area with light coloured furnishings and wooden dining table for 8, furnished in traditional Provencal style. This opens onto two separate terraces. There is a separate TV area with flat screen TV and satellite. The kitchen is well-equipped with oven, coffee maker and all equipment including dishwasher.
On the ground floor are two twin bedrooms, one with en suite shower room, the other with en suite bathroom (with shower). A third bedroom has two bunk beds (see picture) and en suite bathroom.
Upstairs in the main house is the large master suite with en suite bathroom and its own terrace with beautiful views across the countryside.
Two further bedrooms are in a wing accessed from the pool terrace consisting of two large double rooms with separate bathrooms. These rooms interconnect for family use, but that door can be locked.
The separate studio house has the seventh bedroom (twins) and its own sitting area with TV and small kitchen. It is very suitable for teenagers who need some privacy.
The pool is heated and runs on oxygen so is chlorine-free. There is a summer kitchen with sink, fridge and barbecue and very attractive separate outdoor covered dining and seating terraces with a dining table for 10-12. The house is surrounded by a very well maintained large garden with a great variety of shrubs and flowers. The swimming pool and garden can be floodlit at night. There is covered parking and an alarm system.
