The accommodation includes entrance hall, cloakroom, large beamed living/dining room with open fireplace (with CD/stereo), leading to a large kitchen/breakfast room with modern equipment which leads out to the covered barbecue/outdoor eating area near the pool. On the ground floor are also a study, and two double interconnecting bedrooms with bathrooms (twin basins) en suite. On the first floor are two twin bedrooms with shower bathrooms en suite and a third double bedroom with bathroom en suite: all have their own balconies. All bedrooms have a large range of fitted wardrobes.
About the surrounding area
Tourrettes is 2 km [5 mins drive] away and is one of the prettiest villages in France yet very unspoilt. It is a 14th century mediaeval hill village with a charming square and narrow cobbled streets with artisan and craft shops. There is a market every Wednesday in the town square and the local tennis club (3 good courts) welcomes visitors.
The beautiful town of Vence is 8kms, a cultural and historical centre with the Chapelle Matisse, Chateau de Villeneuve, and Cathedral St. Veran. Ramparts surround the medieval old town. Excellent food shopping is in the Rue du Marche in the old town. Le Clerc and Casino supermarkets are in the modern part of the city. The sandy beaches of Juan-les-Pins, Antibes and Cannes are about 45 mins (25km) away. Cagnes sur Mer is 25 mins. Nice airport is 30 mins and Monte Carlo 1 hour.
